"I'm feelin this side of brilliant," Brigid smiled back, squeezing the water from her hair and letting it drape down her shoulder. "T'was th'oddest thing, really. I went t'bed last night just as normal and woke this mornin out in th'woods, bare as the day I was born and lyin in the leaves. Felt better'n I have in weeks t'boot. Maybe I was needin a bit more of a recharge than I get just walkin barefoot?"
It seemed the most logical explanation to her since she'd never lived so long in a city-type environment. On the family farm, she was never out of touch with the Earth for so long as she was here.
