Brigid grinned and went with the mood he seemed to want to play with. She turned the tap on and spoke to the water, collecting it in her hands and guiding it into the now warming kettle, then quirked her brow right back at him before turning back to the fridge for marmalade and jam.
"The rest I'll have t'do the boring, human way," she replied with a wink as she went to the breadbox for the cakes.
